EARTH...... We feel it squishing between our toes. We smell its punguent ripeness. We wallow in its treasures. We depend on the Earth to enclose us, protect us, feed us..... Earth people are in tune with the solid matter of the earth. They don't want to fly away - they want to build a solid future here. They are not interested in discussing philosophy - they already have theirs etched in stone. They would rather not get lost in fantasy. Their world, the real, tangible world, lives inside of them. Earth people can seem to be stuck in the mud. They may have a hard time changing their opinion, logical or not. They could have difficulty moving to a new place or changing plans. They sometimes have trouble acknowledging and feeling their pain. This is why Earth people feel more comfortable with other Earth people. Water people can be very helpful to them, too. They can offer a sympathetic ear, recognize when they're blue and bathe them in nurturing love. Some live closer to the Earth than others. Some are so Earthy that others perceive them as sturdy, robust, stubborn. The downfall of Earth signs is a tendency to become possessed by their possessions. The gift they have to give is a natural ability to build slowly and steadily from even the most meager beginnings, and to maintain a constant, safe and solid presence for those who depend on them. |
