How
to Treat your Aries |

|
Your
Aries is a highly intuitive, fiery, fast-acting, independent person
who needs freedom above all. Aries people can stand alone in the
world, and take pride in their ability to go through life without
leaning on others. They always have a plan of action. If your Aries
is not moving fast physically, you can be sure that mind is brimming
with ideas. For Aries, the head is what it's all about, and Aries
wants to put every idea into motion.
Let
your Aries know how wonderful and special she/he is. In spite of
that bold, confident appearance, or perhaps because of it, Aries can
be somewhat the loner and not get support when needed. Also, your
Aries may never feel truly complete or accomplished at anything
because of the high standards he sets for himself. So, feed him with
praise to boost his ego, and offer your loving encouragement to fan
her passionate fire. Then, allow your Aries to follow those dreams,
and offer helpful pointers and solutions wherever needed. You might
feel invisible and unappreciated, but don't despair. Your Aries feels
as if you are a part of her, and so may not understand the need to
show gratitude. Just notice the way she glows inside when you give
your advice, or the loving looks he gives you, and his determination
to do even more. To Aries, this is the biggest thank you of all.
Most
importantly, do everything possible to make your Aries feel
unfettered. Like all fire signs, Aries can't stand to be led around
or confined - unless as a means to an end. Let your Aries come up
with the idea first, if possible. Otherwise, if you want your Aries
to do something, ask gently! Your Aries has a passionate heart and
the best of intentions, yet is a very sensitive, instinctual and
intuitive individual. Your thoughtful love will be rewarded with

How
to Treat your Taurus |
|
|
|
Taurus
looks strong on the outside - sturdy and sensual, but is a truly
needy individual. What your Taurus needs, day in and day out is love
and nurturing - in the form of food and comfort, a peaceful or
artistic atmosphere, and music.
The
Taurus thrives on creature comforts and beauty. That is why money is
considered to be important to Taureans. It is merely a means to an
end! More money amounts to more cozy and luxurious surroundings for
our soft hearted friend.
If
you watch cows, you'll understand Taurus. Taurus looks tough and
unapproachable, but has those soft, sweetly soothing eyes that you

The
Emperor and Empress in the Tarot |

The
Emperor and Empress are associated with the Sign Aries in the Tarot
~
Benevolent Rulers ~
All
decked out in their finest... ready to show the world who's boss -
the Empress and Emperor may seem haughty, imposing and
unapproachable. Just as parents who must give their children a sense
of security, boundaries and safety - the ruling pair need to elicit a
feeling of respect from those who rely on them - thus the air of
authority, and the appearance that commands respect.
What
they have to offer us is what we would expect from anyone with
ultimate power over our surroundings - protection. The Empress
nurtures and defends us like a doting mother or big sister, and the
Emperor protects and defends, just as a father or big brother would.
Not
only are they protectors, they also help determine our social.
reality. The Empress is Queen-mother - she is fertility, creativity,
and emotional power. The Emperor is King-father - he is virility,
authority and earthly power. Together they create a home, a kingdom,
a realm of influence. Without them we have chaos and anarchy.
Our
personal perspectives regarding these archetypes is relative to our
experience. To a child, her mother may be Empress, or perhaps her
grandmother. To a student in class, the teacher may be Emperor or
Empress. To the masses, a head of state serves as Emperor or Empress.
To a worker, the boss may be absolute ruler. To a very
spiritual/religious soul - the heavenly powers alone are capable of
filling these shoes.
What
sets them apart from mere Kings or Queens is the great, irrefutable
power and authority they represent. They are more symbols to us than
human beings. They command our respect and reverence - and their
gifts to us are sustaining and powerful. The karmic implications of
their existence in our lives is great. Anyone who we perceive in this
light is more than a person to us - but representative of something greater.
To
really get in touch with the energies of these archetypes, think
back to when you were a small child looking up to your parents - when
they had absolute control that you would not dream of challenging.
Alternately
- remember a revered teacher or other adult in your life. As an
adult parent - you might consider your image as Emperor or Empress to
your child. The Empress has the power to create life - and not just
human life. Empress is ruler over the inner life - the emotions, the
family traditions, and the structure of home and family. The Emperor
maintains, supports and defends this structure. He represents the
governing forces and protective devices we need to insulate our world
from unwanted outside influences. As archetypes representing people,
together, they are nurturers and protectors. As archetypes
representing a personal reality - they are the ability or need to
create and nurture (Empress) and to maintain order (Emperor).
In
the grand scheme of things, they are our Cosmic Parents... and we
can be those parents, and also experience them through others - in
any number of situations and areas of our lives.

The
Outer Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes

Uranus
in Pisces! ... Uranus will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til
2011! Spiritual Revolution you say?? Yes, that would describe it
well. What can we expect with Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas
about death, sacrifice, the fantastic and impossible, transcendence
and service to humanity will take some dramatic and innovative turns.
We can hope that humanitarianism will take on new meaning and
purpose, and that service to others may become a more integral part
of our social order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite
reclusive or fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for
years in research can bring new and surprising inventions and
discoveries into our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of
the woodwork. With Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will
rely upon each other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed
and revolutionary (Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may
be a certain amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we
are going for humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
is on the Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp from 1/26/08 until 6/14/08,
bringing a new Plutonian era of change in our social institutions,
government and power structures. The very fabric of society may begin
to be re-woven - these are exciting times!! With Pluto first entering
Capricorn accompanied by Venus and Jupiter, we may indeed feel
blessed with good fortune, harmony and high ideals!
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now! Neptune/Pluto can bring a fanaticism wthat
has not been seen since the last such aspect at the beginning of
WWII. Yet - this aspect is also very positive for creating lasting,
humanitarian changes throughout the world.
The
North and South Nodes are now on the Aquarius/Leo axis ('til
8/21/09). This node placement brings positive connections based on
love for humanity and the quest for social equality, along with
healing in the area of self-love and love for loyalty's sake. This is
a good time to examine our motives, use our egos wisely, and take the
high road - or face karmic consequences!
Chiron
in Aquarius... This archetype of human compassion will be
passing nonstop through Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011,
bringing a period of higher inspiration in the realm of healing. We
may look forward to greater cooperation worldwide in the healing
sciences, and perhaps going back to tradition - those time honored
ways that our ancestors enjoyed and practiced in harmony with nature.
Perhaps we may find more and more "health" foods (ie
unaltered and unprocessed) on our grocery shelves, greater acceptance
of mind-body healing approaches, and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

Mars
in Cancer until 5/9 is passionately protective - a real fighter
for family and country. It will be important to use patriotism
wisely, and to express your fighting spirit with everyone's well
being in mind!
Venus
in Pisces until 4/6 is compassionate, sweet, loving and possibly
easily led. Mars in Cancer is the perfect guide! This first week in
April is great for families and committed lovers - providing a chance
to make deeper spiritual/emotional connections, reminisce
meaningfully, and forge long-lasting bonds based on mutual respect
and protection.
Venus
in Aries through the rest of April is strong and decisive,
impulsive and daring. She may have some clashes with males,
especially if she chargeses ahead without the kind of planning and
precautions that Mars in Cancer may demand!
FUTURE
FORECAST FOR LOVE
During
the first week in April, Venus quintiles Jupiter and
squares Pluto while Mars quintiles Chiron and septiles Saturn. bringing
a strong need to end those relationships that do not fulfill our
true purpose in life, along with a desire to heal differences, and
create strong, lasting bonds with those that do.
The
second week in April, Saturn begins a long trine with Pluto
while Mars octiles Saturn and quintiles Neptune, and Venus octiles
Neptune and quintiles Saturn, which can give us the necessary
imagination, faith, trust, and honest recognition of faults necessary
to truly make lasting changes in our lives. Those who suffer with
delusions and/or personality disorders are likely to sink deeper if
they refuse to seek and embrace the truth.
During
the third and fourth weeks, Venus squares Mars and Jupiter
while Mars opposes Jupiter and trines Uranus. Venus sextiles Chiron
and Neptune as well, which is sure to inject a great deal of
energy and excitement into our lives, and perhaps add to any
tendencies to jump into new situations. If you rely upon creativity,
compassion and intelligence, you can certainly accomplish a great deal!

The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
in Capricorn til 1/5/09 will help set the stage for societal
changes, and perhaps help to broaden the horizons of our policy
makers and power brokers. This can be a year of making great leaps
forward, taking chances, and making new ways the status quo.
Saturn
in Virgo 'til July 21, 2010 brings our focus to the things of
the earth.. the cleanliness and purity of our physical environment.
These coming years can bring a stronger sense of purpose and
responsibility within our social institutions, government and
authority figures regarding the sanctity and protection of our mother
earth. A wonderful time this can be!! Let's feel our earth permeating
society, and becoming the central focus for all we do!
