How
to Treat your Leo |
|
 |
|

Your
Leo is independent - yet family oriented; highly organized and
efficient - yet demanding of others. Leo is King or Queen of the
castle, and wants everyone to know it! Shining brightly through that
magnificent mane is a great joy for living... a completely self-
contained world of fun and creativity. Leo wants the outer world to
be just as shiny as she strives to be, and will go to any lengths to
achieve it.
Your
Leo needs to be happy with how the world perceives him. If enough
praise is not forthcoming, you will have a sulky, growly lion! Make
sure you take time to compliment, heavily. And please don't criticize
overtly - make sly little helpful suggestions instead. Leo is very
sensitive, but bounces back easily because he can't stand
unhappiness. Life is too fun, and creative opportunities too tempting
for Leo to be out of the action for long.
Remember
that you are part of your Sun-God or Goddess' world. Your reputation
is just as important to your Leo as her own. Do your best to look
good, sound dignified and make your space organized and attractive.
Sweep the dirt out of public view, and don't forget to comb your hair!
Feed
your Leo with joyful, sunny surroundings, the laughter of children,
organized spaces and free-time to roam. Keep competition far away
from your very territorial animal. Shower her with cuddly affection,
your undying love and devotion, and most of all PRAISE. You will be
rewarded with a glowing soul whose heart radiates with blissful
devotion to your needs. Your Leo is sure to passionately love, defend
and protect you. It's his job!

How
to Treat your Virgo |
|
 |
|

Your
Virgo is an Earth Angel, a swift, intelligent Mercury without wings,
a dynamically aware work-force. She notices everything. He is hyper-awake.
Virgo,
though unassuming, kind and shy, is one of the strongest signs in
the Zodiac. This is intelligent earthiness - discerning practicality
- a strong yet gentle kindness and nurturing born of sheer common
sense. Your Virgo strives to be a model of perfection. She loves to
please you! He is driven to impress you with his talent for making
the most out of the best!
Mercury's
other child, Gemini, is a much more lighthearted, air-born spirit.
While Gemini is busy gathering so much knowledge, Virgo insists on
action and wants to know what will be done with the information at
hand. The question is always - "of what practical use is
this?" A master at taking things apart and analyzing them -
Virgo always finds room for improvement.
So
how can you possibly impress one who sees and knows so much? How can
you hide your imperfections? What will you do when YOU are the object
of her keen observation? You must be a strong spirit to be with Virgo
- both hard working and emotionally tough. You will be happiest with
your Virgo if you are one who appreciates purity, discernment and a
logical mind; and spurns the superfluous.
Feed
your Virgo with uncluttered surroundings, a practical, frugal budget
and pure, beautiful speech. Make healthful foods a priority. Take the
trash out often. Iron your clothes. Ask your Virgo for help - Virgo
lives to serve! Remind your Virgo how much you appreciate his careful
choices. Tell her how impressed you are with her impeccable taste and
well thought out advice. Make her a part of your life- improvement team!
You
will be rewarded with an eternal help-mate, and a devoted,
down-to-earth, sensual, soft-hearted, compassionate lover.

Strength
in the Tarot |

Strength
is associated with Leo in the Tarot
~
Passion ~
Intense
feelings burn inside you, and you are ready to explode! Your passion
is hot... it begs for an outlet. You feel you could conquer any
obstacle, take whatever you want or need and hold it to you forever,
force the changes you desire to come to fruition. You feel like a god
or goddess with infinite power!
There
is one deck that portrays Strength as a weight- lifter holding up an
incredibly huge barbell. The woman above is holding open the jaws of
a lion! Imagine the courage, the force of will and the sheer inner
strength one would need to accomplish these feats. Passion is what is
required - a desire so strong that it cannot be denied, and all fear
of failure disappears.
Strength
sometimes shows up when feelings are bottled up. There's something
within the querent that demands expression - or at least recognition.
Fear is not what holds you back - but rather opportunity. You have
the presence of mind to know what circumstances will support your
efforts, and what circumstances will not. Sometimes, it's just a
waiting game. Other times - an impossibility, yet the feelings
remain! Strength therefore, can also be Frustration.
What
do you desire? What are you passionate about? Are you expressing
that passion? Do you have obstacles that force you to keep that
feeling inside of you? How do you find release? Once you've got what
you want - do you regain that feeling of super-ability and go back
for more - or do you find another passion?
Ultimately
- Strength and Passion are qualities we all possess, but may not
always recognize, or use...

The
Outer Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes
~^.
.^~
|
|
 |
|

Uranus
in Pisces! ... Uranus will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til
2011! Spiritual Revolution you say?? Yes, that would describe it
well. What can we expect with Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas
about death, sacrifice, the fantastic and impossible, transcendence
and service to humanity will take some dramatic and innovative turns.
We can hope that humanitarianism will take on new meaning and
purpose, and that service to others may become a more integral part
of our social order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite
reclusive or fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for
years in research can bring new and surprising inventions and
discoveries into our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of
the woodwork. With Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will
rely upon each other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed
and revolutionary (Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may
be a certain amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we
are going for humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
in Sagittarius speaks of honesty. While Pluto remains here (till
2008), we are all challenged to be true to ourselves and others, and
to accept and nurture the rich diversity of humanity and our animal
companions on this earth. The world is our family, and those who are
not willing to find, or at least look for the wisdom of the ages -
reflected in many ways through many religions, traditions and
philosophies - will surely suffer a crisis of faith.
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now! Neptune/Pluto can bring a fanaticism wthat
has not been seen since the last such aspect at the beginning of
WWII. Yet - this aspect is also very positive for creating lasting,
humanitarian changes throughout the world.
The
North and South Nodes are now on the Pisces/Virgo axis ('til
12/19/07). This node placement brings a greater sense of right and
wrong with the world and humanity on a grand scale, with issues of
escape, sacrifice, anhilation, and merging spiritually with others
coming to the fore karmically and within our relationships.
Christianity and religion in general may be at issue perhaps even
more than usual.
Let
us hope that, regardless of one's religious allegiance, all who feel
true love in their hearts will continue to spread this light of love,
pray for our planet, and find a way to peace - however that may be.
Chiron
in Aquarius... This archetype of human compassion will be
passing nonstop through Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011,
bringing a period of higher inspiration in the realm of healing. We
may look forward to greater cooperation worldwide in the healing
sciences, and perhaps going back to tradition - those time honored
ways that our ancestors enjoyed and practiced in harmony with nature.
Perhaps we may find more and more "health" foods (ie
unaltered and unprocessed) on our grocery shelves, greater acceptance
of mind-body healing approaches, and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

Mewsings
from Venus & Mars... August 2007
plus
the Future Forecast for LOVE! |
|
 |
|
Mars
in Taurus until August 7 is after comfort and security. Males
may seem more stubborn and self-serving, but highly sensual. There
could be some clashes when Venus returns to Leo (8/10), so it would
be wise to focus on commonalities and not let differences bog you down.
Venus
in Virgo til August 10th is fastidious and choosy. You might
find her tearing the house apart and redoing it - not to mention
cleaning furiously. She will show her knack for identifying
imperfections, and will get along just fine with earthy Mars in
Taurus. Sensuality will rule with Mars and Venus in earth signs!
Mars
in Gemini 8/8 to 9/28 shows his skill and wit, and enjoys taking
on multiple tasks, and friendships. Keep an eye on him, he may tend
to wander some!
Venus
in Leo from 8/10 to 10/8 is retrograde til 9/8, intensifying and
giving extra passion to that Venusian LOVE energy. If ever there was
a time to pamper her, it's now... she will appreciate your flattery
and attentiveness, and might growl if she doesn't get it! 8/10 right
through September will be a great time for optimism, fun, humor and
silliness in love. Don't sweat the small stuff - embrace your
childlike qualities, and enjoy the sweetness of life!
FUTURE
FORECAST FOR LOVE
The
first week in August, Mars square Saturn & quintile Uranus can
bring greater awareness to dealings with authority. The powers of
peace and goodwill will probably win (Saturn/Venus trine Pluto)
During
the second week in August, Venus square Mars & conjunct Saturn can
bring tension between the sexes, perhaps over commitment, or
misbehavior.. be careful!
During
the third/fourth weeks in August, when Mars opposes Jupiter
& trines Chiron, & Venus quintiles Mars & opposes Neptune... look
for great energy in love and work, and opportunities to heal
relationships through sincerity, faith, imagination, and harnessing
your passion for life. Be careful not to allow yourself to be misled
or to have false hopes. Search your heart and soul for the truth, and
above all - be true to yourself!
~
The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
in Sagittarius til 12/18/07 is in his glory, bringing tremendous
energy for truth, liberty, justice, expansion, increase, humor,
intelligence and broad-mindedness. Jupiter conjuncts Pluto at 28 deg.
Sag. early to mid Dec. '07 (exact 12/12/07), which I believe will
trigger great spiritual/moral outspokenness and fiery debate, as well
as increased activity in research and discovery. I see this as a sort
of "last chance" to speak your truth - then make your
peace. As long as finding common moral ground is the goal, all will
be well. Pompous self-righteousness won't further any goals, but
there may be some of that. Venus will follow (conjuncting Pluto) in
Jan. 08 with Mars opposite - another opportunity for mending broken
relationships. It won't be much longer til Pluto is in Capricorn and
honesty and flexibility give way to political models that are harsh
and/or set in stone. While Jupiter is in Sag, we have time to
communicate profusely and broaden our perceptions before they become
the status quo.
Saturn
in Leo from July 17 '05 til Sept. 2, '07 is likely to bring
forth leaders and institutions that shine with dignity, pride, love,
admiration, and if we're not careful - vanity and power-tripping. We
may feel more comfortable witnessing public displays of wealth,
bravado, power and drama. Saturn in Leo can whip us into shape... the
right leaders under this Saturn can be spiritually inspiring, highly
moral and great lovers of their people. The benevolent leader with
Leo qualities puts his people above all, and loves them as his own
family. Let us visualize these kinds of leaders coming forward, into
the light. and making a real difference in our world!
