Here's

I've
been off work all of July from my regular job, and have taken some
time to do much needed updates on MoonCat's Astrology. Broken and
outdated links and formatting have been cleaned up, and I've added a
new reading or two.There's always more to do (I think I may have made
the site too huge!), but for now I hope it's a substantial improvement.

How
to Treat your Leo |
|
|
|
Your
Leo is independent - yet family oriented; highly organized and
efficient - yet demanding of others. Leo is King or Queen of the
castle, and wants everyone to know it! Shining brightly through that
magnificent mane is a great joy for living... a completely self-
contained world of fun and creativity. Leo wants the outer world to
be just as shiny as she strives to be, and will go to any lengths to
achieve it.
Your
Leo needs to be happy with how the world perceives him. If enough
praise is not forthcoming, you will have a sulky, growly lion! Make
sure you take time to compliment, heavily. And please don't criticize
overtly - make sly little helpful suggestions instead. Leo is very
sensitive, but bounces back easily because he can't stand
unhappiness. Life is too fun, and creative opportunities too tempting
for Leo to be out of the action for long.
Remember
that you are part of your Sun-God or Goddess' world. Your reputation
is just as important to your Leo as her own. Do your best to look
good, sound dignified and make your space organized and attractive.
Sweep the dirt out of public view, and don't forget to comb your hair!
Feed
your Leo with joyful, sunny surroundings, the laughter of children,
organized spaces and free-time to roam. Keep competition far away
from your very territorial animal. Shower her with cuddly affection,
your undying love and devotion, and most of all PRAISE. You will be
rewarded with a glowing soul whose heart radiates with blissful

Virgo is an Earth Angel, a swift, intelligent Mercury without wings,

in the Tarot is associated with the Sign of Leo

Passion ~ Intense feelings burn inside you, and you are ready to
explode! Your passion is hot... it begs for an outlet. You feel you
could conquer any obstacle, take whatever you want or need and hold
it to you forever, force the changes you desire to come to fruition.
You feel like a god or goddess with infinite power!
There
is one deck that portrays Strength as a weight- lifter holding up an
incredibly huge barbell. The woman above is holding open the jaws of
a lion! Imagine the courage, the force of will and the sheer inner
strength one would need to accomplish these feats. Passion is what is

Strength

The
Outer Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes

Uranus
in Pisces! ... Uranus will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til
2011! Spiritual Revolution you say?? Yes, that would describe it
well. What can we expect with Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas
about death, sacrifice, the fantastic and impossible, transcendence
and service to humanity will take some dramatic and innovative turns.
We can hope that humanitarianism will take on new meaning and
purpose, and that service to others may become a more integral part
of our social order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite
reclusive or fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for
years in research can bring new and surprising inventions and
discoveries into our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of
the woodwork. With Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will
rely upon each other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed
and revolutionary (Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may
be a certain amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we
are going for humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
is on the Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp through the end of 2008,
bringing a new Plutonian era of change in our social institutions,
government and power structures. The very fabric of society may begin
to be re-woven - these are exciting times!! With Pluto first entering
Capricorn accompanied by Venus and Jupiter, we may indeed feel
blessed with good fortune, harmony and high ideals!
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now! Neptune/Pluto can bring a fanaticism wthat
has not been seen since the last such aspect at the beginning of
WWII. Yet - this aspect is also very positive for creating lasting,
humanitarian changes throughout the world.
The
North and South Nodes are now on the Aquarius/Leo axis ('til
8/21/09). This node placement brings positive connections based on
love for humanity and the quest for social equality, along with
healing in the area of self-love and love for loyalty's sake. This is
a good time to examine our motives, use our egos wisely, and take the
high road - or face karmic consequences!
Chiron
in Aquarius... This archetype of human compassion will be
passing nonstop through Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011,
bringing a period of higher inspiration in the realm of healing. We
may look forward to greater cooperation worldwide in the healing
sciences, and perhaps going back to tradition - those time honored
ways that our ancestors enjoyed and practiced in harmony with nature.
Perhaps we may find more and more "health" foods (ie
unaltered and unprocessed) on our grocery shelves, greater acceptance
of mind-body healing approaches, and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

from Venus & Mars... August 2008 |

Mars
in Virgo until 8/19 is intent on doing the right thing.
Exactness, precision and purity of action will be more in evidence
during this time. If you have projects going, you are likely to
demand perfection.
Venus
in Leo until 8/5 brings some style and flair, with perhaps
bolder expectations and grander ideas in mind. She may be more into
her looks and making an impression, and might need extra time to
pamper herself - or maybe she will call on you to pamper her!
Venus
in Virgo from 8/5 to 8/30 is gaining on Mars (they conjunct on
9/11 in Libra). This Venus is kind, helpful and discerning. She can
be counted on to solve problems, and create a harmonious environment!
Mars
is in Libra from 8/19 to 10/3. This is a time for taking charge
in relationships, and creating balance and order. If the give/take
ratio is off, adjustments may need to be made!
FUTURE
FORECAST FOR LOVE
During
the first week in August, along with a Total
Solar Eclipse in Leo, Venus trines Pluto while Mars
opposes Uranus, bringing strong sensuality and magnetism and a
greater tendency to take chances or make bold or sudden moves. Karmic
meetings could spark serious, or at least passionate bonds.
The
second week in August, Venus conjuncts Saturn while Mars bi-
quintiles N.Node/Chiron/Neptune. With Chiron conjunct Neptune
and North Node, opportunities for spiritual healing and renewal will
abound. Chance encounters and all forms of communication should be
approached with kindness, honor and integrity - as all things we say
and do carry meaning, purpose and power.
During
the third week, Mars squares Pluto and Venus trines Jupiter
in Virgo/Capricorn. We may notice a more marked contrast
between those engaged in power plays related to material gain, and
those engaged in meaningful pursuits that enlighten and benefit others.
The
last week in August, Venus opposes Uranus and bi- quintiles
Node/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius. Mars is octile. A compulsion
to bring peace and harmony can be sparked into real action. This is a
time to use kind words and understanding in all things, and let
compassion rule the day!

The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
in Capricorn til 1/5/09 will help set the stage for societal
changes, and perhaps help to broaden the horizons of our policy
makers and power brokers. This can be a year of making great leaps
forward, taking chances, and making new ways the status quo.
Saturn
in Virgo 'til July 21, 2010 brings our focus to the things of
the earth.. the cleanliness and purity of our physical environment.
These coming years can bring a stronger sense of purpose and
responsibility within our social institutions, government and from
authority figures regarding the sanctity and protection of our mother
earth. A wonderful time this can be!! Let's make conscious
guardianship of our world the central focus for all we do!
