How
to Treat your Cancer |
|
 |
|

Your
Cancer man or maiden is an especially kind and nurturing soul.
Cancers are observant and empathetic. Just as the Moon fills with
light from the Sun, your oceanic Cancer absorbs energy from those
around her, deeply feeling their needs and desires. Your Cancer, like
a warm mama, loves to fulfill you and make you comfortable. Home,
food, garden, nursery, work - all become the loving charge of
Cancer's love and care.
Sometimes
your Cancer becomes overwhelmed with concern for others, and needs
to take refuge in a protective shell to be shielded from negative
influences. You may find your Cancer either hiding out or complaining
sadly. It's just that he is filled to the brim with external woes,
and just can't please everyone. Such a frustration!
For
Cancer, the Moon who rules over his heart waxes and wanes, grows
full with wild lunatic ravings and joy, and shrinks into that dark
place where brooding and sulking can set in. Emotions are inconstant,
but so entertaining for the lucky one who has a Cancer for a friend
or partner!
The
Cancer needs to feel needed. Don't hesitate to ask your Cancer for
help, even if she seems downhearted. It makes her feel alive. Be sure
to confide your deepest feelings and desires to your Cancer. It gives
him the opportunity to be more a part of you, and strive to fulfill
your happiness.
Feed
your Cancer with a well stocked kitchen, room for a garden, pets,
cozy decor and children. Take your Cancer to the water or ocean
often. Allow your Cancer opportunities to use the deep imagination
and creativity within. Be kind and patient when the Moon wreaks havoc
on his moods. Make sure your Cancer has privacy when needed, and
feels safe and protected. Screen his calls! Make sure her locks are
secure! You will be rewarded with joyful, shining moonbeam smiles,
and loving comforts of home to rival the most doting of mothers!

How
to Treat your Leo |
|
 |
|

Your
Leo is independent - yet family oriented; highly organized and
efficient - yet demanding of others. Leo is King or Queen of the
castle, and wants everyone to know it! Shining brightly through that
magnificent mane is a great joy for living... a completely self-
contained world of fun and creativity. Leo wants the outer world to
be just as shiny as she strives to be, and will go to any lengths to
achieve it.
Your
Leo needs to be happy with how the world perceives him. If enough
praise is not forthcoming, you will have a sulky, growly lion! Make
sure you take time to compliment, heavily. And please don't criticize
overtly - make sly little helpful suggestions instead. Leo is very
sensitive, but bounces back easily because he can't stand
unhappiness. Life is too fun, and creative opportunities too tempting
for Leo to be out of the action for long.
Remember
that you are part of your Sun-God or Goddess' world. Your reputation
is just as important to your Leo as her own. Do your best to look
good, sound dignified and make your space organized and attractive.
Sweep the dirt out of public view, and don't forget to comb your hair!
Feed
your Leo with joyful, sunny surroundings, the laughter of children,
organized spaces and free-time to roam. Keep competition far away
from your very territorial animal. Shower her with cuddly affection,
your undying love and devotion, and most of all PRAISE. You will be
rewarded with a glowing soul whose heart radiates with blissful
devotion to your needs. Your Leo is sure to passionately love, defend
and protect you. It's his job!

The
Moon is associated with Cancer in the Tarot
~
Going Within ~
The
Moon represents the emotional or astral body - the soul's memory of
all earthly feeling. This is where the deepest human feelings reside,
in the Moon's play of light and shadow, her dance with the Sun.
In
many decks, the Moon is portrayed as two dogs baying at the Moon,
one wild - representing our primal, uncontrolled emotional responses,
and the other tame - to show the civilized restraint that we as
social beings are capable of.
Imagine
you are struck by a strong emotion... surprise, sadness, shock,
fear, anger - whatever feels most familiar to you. Now feel the
actual feeling - and think about your outer, visible response. While
some of us react immediately, many people instinctively close up and
hide. Often, we need time to withdraw from others - to go within and
sort out the feelings welling up inside. Sometimes there is outright embarrasment.
The
Moon is internal, thoughtful - busy getting in touch with the swirl
and tumble of feelings within her. In astrological terms, she is
Zodiacal Cancer, the crab (another key image in this card) - whose
moods change with the lunar phases and who often hides in her shell.
She cares deeply for others, and in caring can become entangled in
their needs - losing track of her own. Or, she can drown piteously in
her own problems - tangled in a sea of emotion.
However
she may react, there is a withdrawal from the world on some level.
Even in anger one tends to close up and shut everyone else out. The
emotions take hold, seen or unseen, and we are essentially all alone.
With the Moon, we go within, and dare not let anyone - outside our
most intimate circle - into our innermost souls, and even they may
feel left out for a time. Fear can creep in if we have difficulty
coming to terms with the feelings that hold us in their grip.
But
while we are immersed in her ocean, we may also see things more
clearly through the reflective forces of the Moon as she reaches in
and touches us in our solitude. Relationships come into focus, and
those things we've kept hidden even to ourselves are illuminated in a
dreamy misty light - and beg for attention. This is the time to take
action - when the lunar forces are at their peak, and we are sure,
through and through, about what needs must be met. The Moon is an
essential part of you. She is the concern that wakes you up at night,
the nagging desire that fuels your imagination, and the primal,
natural forces of emotion that keep you alive. You may hide from her,
howl at her or hail her with joy, but you cannot deny her her power!

The
Outer Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes
~^.

Uranus
in Pisces! ... Uranus will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til
2011! Spiritual Revolution you say?? Yes, that would describe it
well. What can we expect with Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas
about death, sacrifice, the fantastic and impossible, transcendence
and service to humanity will take some dramatic and innovative turns.
We can hope that humanitarianism will take on new meaning and
purpose, and that service to others may become a more integral part
of our social order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite
reclusive or fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for
years in research can bring new and surprising inventions and
discoveries into our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of
the woodwork. With Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will
rely upon each other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed
and revolutionary (Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may
be a certain amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we
are going for humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
in Sagittarius speaks of honesty. While Pluto remains here (till
2008), we are all challenged to be true to ourselves and others, and
to accept and nurture the rich diversity of humanity and our animal
companions on this earth. The world is our family, and those who are
not willing to find, or at least look for the wisdom of the ages -
reflected in many ways through many religions, traditions and
philosophies - will surely suffer a crisis of faith.
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now! Neptune/Pluto can bring a fanaticism wthat
has not been seen since the last such aspect at the beginning of
WWII. Yet - this aspect is also very positive for creating lasting,
humanitarian changes throughout the world.
The
North and South Nodes are now on the Pisces/Virgo axis ('til
12/19/07). This node placement brings a greater sense of right and
wrong with the world and humanity on a grand scale, with issues of
escape, sacrifice, anhilation, and merging spiritually with others
coming to the fore karmically and within our relationships.
Christianity and religion in general may be at issue perhaps even
more than usual.
Let
us hope that, regardless of one's religious allegiance, all who feel
true love in their hearts will continue to spread this light of love,
pray for our planet, and find a way to peace - however that may be.
Chiron
in Aquarius... This archetype of human compassion will be
passing nonstop through Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011,
bringing a period of higher inspiration in the realm of healing. We
may look forward to greater cooperation worldwide in the healing
sciences, and perhaps going back to tradition - those time honored
ways that our ancestors enjoyed and practiced in harmony with nature.
Perhaps we may find more and more "health" foods (ie
unaltered and unprocessed) on our grocery shelves, greater acceptance
of mind-body healing approaches, and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

Mewsings
from Venus & Mars... July 2007
plus
the Future Forecast for LOVE! |
|
 |
|
Venus
in Leo - 'til July 14 is a tigress in love... she is loyal, fun
loving, and will fight for her loved ones. Her creativity and
organizational skills will shine brighter while Venus is in Leo, and
she will strive to make herself and her surroundings look their very best.
Mars
in Taurus until August 7 is after comfort and security. Males
may seem more stubborn and self-serving, but highly sensual. There
could be some clashes with Venus in Leo, so it would be wise to focus
on commonalities and not let differences bog you down.
Venus
in Virgo on July 15th is fastidious and choosy. You might find
her tearing the house apart and redoing it - not to mention cleaning
furiously. She will show her knack for identifying imperfections, and
will get along just fine with earthy Mars in Taurus. Sensuality will
rule with Mars and Venus in earth signs!
FUTURE
FORECAST FOR LOVE
The
first week of July, Mars bi-quintile Jupiter with Venus
conjunct Saturn brings optimistism and energy to committed
relationships. Saturn opposing Neptune can bring
clashes between reality and fantasy, or conversely - opportunities to
turn fantasies into reality!
during
the second week of July, Venus trine Pluto with Mars octile
the power planet can bring irritably powerful desires. Females
may be more receptive if things are going well. If not - be careful!
During
the third week of July, when Mars squares Chiron and sextiles Uranus... look
for an increase in healing energy - karma can bring clashes and breakthroughs
During
the last week of July, with Mars biquintile Pluto and
square Neptune/Saturn, power struggles can turn serious. It
will be very important to ignore gossip and get to the heart of the
matter. Those who are artistic/creative may find that greater effort
sees their ideas taking shape.
~
The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
in Sagittarius til 12/18/07 is in his glory, bringing tremendous
energy for truth, liberty, justice, expansion, increase, humor,
intelligence and broad-mindedness. Jupiter conjuncts Pluto at 28 deg.
Sag. early to mid Dec. '07 (exact 12/12/07), which I believe will
trigger great spiritual/moral outspokenness and fiery debate, as well
as increased activity in research and discovery. I see this as a sort
of "last chance" to speak your truth - then make your
peace. As long as finding common moral ground is the goal, all will
be well. Pompous self-righteousness won't further any goals, but
there may be some of that. Venus will follow (conjuncting Pluto) in
Jan. 08 with Mars opposite - another opportunity for mending broken
relationships. It won't be much longer til Pluto is in Capricorn and
honesty and flexibility give way to political models that are harsh
and/or set in stone. While Jupiter is in Sag, we have time to
communicate profusely and broaden our perceptions before they become
the status quo.
Saturn
in Leo from July 17 '05 til Sept. 2, '07 is likely to bring
forth leaders and institutions that shine with dignity, pride, love,
admiration, and if we're not careful - vanity and power-tripping. We
may feel more comfortable witnessing public displays of wealth,
bravado, power and drama. Saturn in Leo can whip us into shape... the
right leaders under this Saturn can be spiritually inspiring, highly
moral and great lovers of their people. The benevolent leader with
Leo qualities puts his people above all, and loves them as his own
family. Let us visualize these kinds of leaders coming forward, into
the light. and making a real difference in our world!
