How
to Treat your Pisces |

|
The
Pisces gives love constantly. The moment you withhold love from your
Pisces, or treat your Pisces even a little bit harshly, you've opened
the door to great sadness . Pisceans don't understand cruelty - even
if it comes unwittingly from them. And the sensitive nature of Pisces
makes him susceptible to great hurt. If you want to keep him around,
be aware of your words and actions, and your Pisces' reaction to
them. If he slinks off and hides, you know there's some serious
heartache going on!
The
Pisces needs compassion, water, creative or spiritual surroundings,
an atmosphere of peace and calm, and ample opportunities to show off
her many talents and ideas. Pisces loves to learn, and needs to be
provided with information and ideas to help keep the creative juices flowing.
So
be sure to provide your Pisces with imaginative, uplifting and
beautiful entertainment. Don't overwhelm her with frightening images
such as one might see in a violent movie. Pisces would rather not
dwell on such things, and is much healthier when exposed to natural,
peaceful or spiritual imagery.
Feed
your Pisces with love and kindness, a sincere interest in his many
dreams and ideals, respect for her creations, quiet, secluded
outings, romantic conversation and your own spiritual idealism. Wake
your sleepy, dreamy night-fish up in the morning, help your Pisces
find the way in crowded places, guide him through confusing times and
hold her hand while crossing the street. You will be rewarded with a

How
to Treat your Aries |

Your
Aries is a highly intuitive, fiery, fast-acting, independent person
who needs freedom above all. Aries people can stand alone in the
world, and take pride in their ability to go through life without
leaning on others. They always have a plan of action. If your Aries
is not moving fast physically, you can be sure that mind is brimming
with ideas. For Aries, the head is what it's all about, and Aries
wants to put every idea into motion.
Let
your Aries know how wonderful and special she/he is. In spite of
that bold, confident appearance, or perhaps because of it, Aries can
be somewhat the loner and not get support when needed. Also, your
Aries may never feel truly complete or accomplished at anything
because of the high standards he sets for himself. So, feed him with
praise to boost his ego, and offer your loving encouragement to fan
her passionate fire. Then, allow your Aries to follow those dreams,
and offer helpful pointers and solutions wherever needed. You might
feel invisible and unappreciated, but don't despair. Your Aries feels
as if you are a part of her, and so may not understand the need to
show gratitude. Just notice the way she glows inside when you give
your advice, or the loving looks he gives you, and his determination

Most
importantly, do everything possible to make your Aries feel
unfettered. Like all fire signs, Aries can't stand to be led around

Hanged Man in the Tarot |

The
Hanged Man is associated with the Sign Pisces in the Tarot
~
Sacrifice ~
The
symbolism in this archetype is rich and deep, and found in nearly
every mythological and religious tradition, yet this is one of the
simplest cards to interpret in a reading. Sacrifice... the Hanged Man
is giving up something dear to him, in this case maybe even his life.
His reasons can be many or few - but ultimately, he is letting go of
certain needs or desires in order to fulfill the needs of another, or
group of others.
This
is Martin Luther King going to jail for staging a sit- in, and
finally losing his life to further the cause of racial equality. This
is Jesus on the Cross - dying for our sins. This is Prometheus who is
punished by the gods for giving us fire. This is Ghandi - leading
countless others into deadly situations to make a stand for justice.
These heroes KNEW they would be severely judged and punished. They
knew they would suffer, yet their sacrifices had immeasurable value
for those higher values they served - and they found the strength to
go through with great pain in order to change the world.
We
can see the shadow of the Hanged man in the alcoholic who gives up
drinking to save her marriage, the entertainer who puts his career on
the line to stand up for a cause, the mother who gives birth, and
gives up work to be with her child, or conversely - who is forced to
give up time with her child in order to feed her family.
The
artist who gives up a nurturing relationship in order to fulfill his
creative drive is sacrificing basic needs in order to make his mark
in the world. Then - when he turns around and gives up his creativity
to be with loved ones, he is sacrificing once again! The Hanged Man
shows up whenever we stop what we're doing to attend to the needs of
someone else, and especially when it is painful to give up that
necessity, basic drive or comfort. In many ways, he is the exact
opposite of the Devil - who serves only his own selfish needs. This
archetype represents the power within us to completely surrender some
part of self in order to fulfill what we perceive as something
greater, or at least temporarily more important. The Devil gives up
his soul for some material gain, and the Hanged Man gives up some
material gain for his soul. Ultimately, who do you think wins?
Certainly the Hanged Man - because he spurns the fleeting comforts of
human existence - knowing that our souls go on forever.
The
Hanged Man has a cause very dear to his heart, and essential to his
soul purpose and evolution. He may be a martyr, but he'll never tell
you that. He doesn't look for pity - only understanding and love.
If
I can accomplish just one thing in life, may it be that I continue
to find the courage to keep sacrificing for what I know is right, and
also know when to do so... to let go of those things that do not
serve my higher purpose in life, and embrace those things that send
me soaring closer to sainthood... surely a long way off, but at least
I can try!

Outer Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes

Uranus
in Pisces! ... Uranus will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til
2011! Spiritual Revolution you say?? Yes, that would describe it
well. What can we expect with Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas
about death, sacrifice, the fantastic and impossible, transcendence
and service to humanity will take some dramatic and innovative turns.
We can hope that humanitarianism will take on new meaning and
purpose, and that service to others may become a more integral part
of our social order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite
reclusive or fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for
years in research can bring new and surprising inventions and
discoveries into our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of
the woodwork. With Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will
rely upon each other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed
and revolutionary (Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may
be a certain amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we
are going for humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
in Sagittarius speaks of honesty. While Pluto remains here (till
1/25/2008), we are all challenged to be true to ourselves and others,
and to accept and nurture the rich diversity of humanity and our
animal companions on this earth. The world is our family, and those
who are not willing to find, or at least look for the wisdom of the
ages - reflected in many ways through many religions, traditions and
philosophies - will surely suffer a crisis of faith.
Pluto
is on the Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp from 1/26/08 until 6/14/08,
harboring in a new Plutonian era of change in our social
institutions, government and power structures. The very fabric of
society may begin to be re-woven - these are exciting times!! With
Pluto entering Capricorn accompanied by Venus and Jupiter, we may
indeed feel blessed with good fortune, harmony and high ideals!
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now! Neptune/Pluto can bring a fanaticism wthat
has not been seen since the last such aspect at the beginning of
WWII. Yet - this aspect is also very positive for creating lasting,
humanitarian changes throughout the world.
The
North and South Nodes are now on the Aquarius/Leo axis ('til
8/21/09). This node placement brings positive connections based on
love for humanity and the quest for social equality, along with
healing in the area of self-love and love for loyalty's sake. This is
a good time to examine our motives, use our egos wisely, and take the
high road - or face karmic consequences!
Chiron
in Aquarius... This archetype of human compassion will be
passing nonstop through Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011,
bringing a period of higher inspiration in the realm of healing. We
may look forward to greater cooperation worldwide in the healing
sciences, and perhaps going back to tradition - those time honored
ways that our ancestors enjoyed and practiced in harmony with nature.
Perhaps we may find more and more "health" foods (ie
unaltered and unprocessed) on our grocery shelves, greater acceptance
of mind-body healing approaches, and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

from Venus & Mars... March 2008 |

Mars
is retrograde in Gemini (until 3/5/08 when the red planet is
back again in Cancer). Mars in Gemini brings the ability to
multi-task, and a greater focus on our communications, community and
education. For lovers who are very jealous or possessive, this can be
a challenging time. Keep it real and honest, and try not to jump to conclusions!
Mars
in Cancer 3/5 to 5/9 is passionately protective - a real fighter
for family and country. It will be important to use patriotism
wisely, and to express your fighting spirit with everyone's well
being in mind!
Venus
in Aquarius until 3/13 is wild and free, and looking for
excitement, communication and cameraderie in relationships. She will
have interesting ideas, and will not be swayed from her path!
Venus
in Pisces from 3/13 to 4/6 is compassionate, sweet, loving and
possibly easily led. Mars in Cancer is the perfect guide! These few
weeks will be great for families and committed lovers - providing a
chance to make deeper spiritual/emotional connections, reminisce
meaningfully, and forge long-lasting bonds based on mutual respect
and protection.
FUTURE
FORECAST FOR LOVE
The
first week in March, Mars in Gemini/Cancer opposes Pluto
in Capricorn, and Venus/Mercury conjunct Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius. bringing
idealized, inspired, healing love along with powerful and perhaps
polarizing male combative energy. This is a time for creating change
that will benefit all, and bring people closer together as a human family.
During
the second week in March, Venus entering Pisces (3/12)
sextiles Pluto, opposes Saturn and trines Mars, which helps us
to solidify goals and make the best of any opposition from the
previous week. Self discipline and good communication will help us as
individuals to stay on top of responsibilities and avoid reprimands.
During
the third and fourth weeks, Venus nears Uranus as the wild
planet sextiles Jupiter. Venus also quintiles Pluto, and Mars octiles Neptune, bringing
plenty of excitement in relationships - an optimism and willingness
to try new things, and perhaps a need for change and renewal. Deeper,
more spiritual and meaningful relationships are favored, as well as
those that promote fellowship, cooperation and progress.

The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
in Capricorn til 1/5/09 will help set the stage for societal
changes, and perhaps help to broaden the horizons of our policy
makers and power brokers. This can be a year of making great leaps
forward, taking chances, and making new ways the status quo.
Saturn
in Virgo 'til July 21, 2010 brings our focus to the things of
the earth.. the cleanliness and purity of our physical environment.
These coming years can bring a stronger sense of purpose and
responsibility within our social institutions, government and
authority figures regarding the sanctity and protection of our mother
earth. A wonderful time this can be!! Let's feel our earth permeating
society, and becoming the central focus for all we do!
