Dear
MoonCat Visitor,
Here's
wishing you a glorious, flowery May!!!
Hope
the Mars/Uranus thing didn't get you last weekend. As a school
secretary, I have seen vividly how some children react to the
planetary vibes... and this one was something! I must remember to
relax, breathe, and enjoy nature at every opportunity!
Many
Blessings
Danielle

How
to Treat your Taurus |
|
 |
|
Taurus
looks strong on the outside - sturdy and sensual, but is a truly
needy individual. What your Taurus needs, day in and day out is love
and nurturing - in the form of food and comfort, a peaceful or
artistic atmosphere, and music.
The
Taurus thrives on creature comforts and beauty. That is why money is
considered to be important to Taureans. It is merely a means to an
end! More money amounts to more cozy and luxurious surroundings for
our soft hearted friend.
If
you watch cows, you'll understand Taurus. Taurus looks tough and
unapproachable, but has those soft, sweetly soothing eyes that you
just have to love. Taurus eats, then mosies off to get comfortable
and wait patiently for attention to come her way. Taurus does not
want to work very hard, and will always find the most expedient way
to get what she wants - even if it means turning into a hot-tempered bull.
The
Taurus will fool you into believing that he's perfectly content, but
watch out! He patiently waits for what he needs, then - assuming you
are aware of his every desire - he blows up unexpectedly over some
tiny oversight when patience suddenly runs out. That's why it's good
to check in on your Taurus frequently to make sure he feels cared for
in every way... no sense testing him to the limit!
Feed
your Taurus with good food, romantic music, respectful pampering and
your undying devotion and loyalty. Don't make sudden moves or
changes, and don't disturb your Taureans peaceful or comfortable
moments. Remind your Taurus that you need pampering too - Taurus just
loves to spoil you! You will be rewarded with a passionate, romantic,
sensuous and eternal love.

How
to Treat your Gemini |
|
 |
|
Your
Gemini is a gem, a treasure trove of knowledge, wit and bouncy
friendship. The local happenings are a must to know. How to go about
doing almost anything? Just ask your two-for-the-price-of-one friend!
Quicksilver in his veins, wings on her shoulders, the world moves at
jet speed for your Gemini, and you must be able to think and react
quickly if you want to keep up!
Like
all Air signs, your Mercurial man or maiden thrives on information.
Emotional matters may be viewed philosophically, logically or with
refreshing humor. You won't find him sulking in a corner...
everything must be discussed... hiding won't do! Your Gemini is
especially attuned with friendship, and may seek many viewpoints and
opinions from a multitude of acquaintances. He can bend with the wind
- so do have patience.
You
may be confused at times when your Gemini changes her mind, makes
multiple plans or takes off suddenly. Gemini wants to befriend nearly
everyone, and may sometimes even tell a little white lie in order to
maintain good feelings. So, here are some pointers for keeping your sanity...
Feed
your Gemini with the joy of your laughter. Talk to your Gemini - be
open. Pull him back to you when he strays to other friends. Call him
on his tiny little deceptions. Allow your Gemini to have other
friendships, within reason. Be amazed and in awe of his knowledge!
Enjoy
the fun and friendship your Gemini has to offer. Treat her with
genuine love and respect. Take joy in her wit and spare-of-the-moment
activities. You will be richly rewarded with the fruits of her mental
musings, fun times, delicious humor, silliness and true, true friendship.

The
High Priest and Priestess in the Tarot |
|
 |
|
The
High Priest (Heirophant) is associated with Taurus in the Tarot
~
Counselors ~
I
like the way this deck portrays the Priest and Priestess from a
distance - somewhat removed from others, objective and wise. These
people, in their purest form, are to be treated with the utmost
respect - they are humble servants of humanity. They represent our
counselors, guides, friends and advisors. The aura of spirituality
and even religious imagery that surrounds them is a deliberate
attempt to conjure up a feeling of awe, respect and reverence.
When
you ask a friend for advice, it is best to be honest about your
concerns - confess all - and to truly listen to what your advisor has
to say. That is assuming that this one is a worthy advisor! The
Priest and Priestess must truly care about you.
There
are some dangers inherent in these archetypes. The seeker may depend
too much on the advisor's help, thus relinquishing his/her own power
in the world. Or, the advisor may become too powerful or egotistical,
and forget the needs of those who seek her/him out. Some advisors
become very dogmatic and stern - lost in the details and particulars
of ritual practice. Even a psychologist or spiritual advisor can
become too pat and repetitive and lose site of the true objective. To
listen, understand, and advise with wisdom and kindness, and to
gently guide the seeker to find his/her own way is often a much more
powerful way of counseling than merely prescribing a few prayers,
practices or rituals. This is not to demean the power of ritual and
prayer - they certainly have their place, and may quite possibly be
the answer to everything!
Most
of us, at some time or other, seek a Priestess or Priest to help
guide us through powerful passages in our lives. The road to finding
deeper meaning is much easier when we have a human, compassionate
ear, an intermediary between the mundane and spiritual worlds, and
perhaps some ritual to help keep our spirits alive. We all sometimes
need the gentle, patient guidance and wisdom that an elder, spirit-
guide, dear friend or counselor can provide.
These
cards also signify mysteries that may seem beyond our reach - behind
the veil of human awareness. Your inner Priestess or Priest may tap
into these mysteries by developing the intuitive skills. When these
cards indicate people, they are generally not considered in a sexual
sense... they represent platonic friendships and alliances.

Mewsings
from Venus & Mars... May 2007 |
|
 |
|
Mars
in Pisces - Apr. 6 - May 15 is passionate and spiritual,
sensitive and inspired. This Mars is inclined to fight for a cause.
Those who are easily swayed must beware while Mars is in Pisces. Take
the time to think deeply and carefully before acting, and be true to
your own heart!
Venus
in Gemini - Apr. 12 - May 8 is fun-loving and looking for
friendship. This can be disconcerting for Mars in Pisces if his
interests don't match hers - but if they do and both are open to
doing things together, great fun may be in store for everyone!! Guys
are advised to enjoy her wit and humor, and remember to laugh at
everything... why be serious?
Venus
in Cancer - May 8 to June 5 is caring and protective. Females
may be more likely to want to be close to home and family, and
domestic considerations will come first. Make sure you let her know
you are watching her back, and helping to protect her interests!
Mars
in Aries - May 15 to June 25 can be aggressive and self-serving.
Keep in mind that he may be totally set on going his own way, and
will not take kindly to direction. However if you've been longing for
a go-getter - someone with drive and ambition and sex appeal, Mars in
Aries will surely bring it out.
